SweetestRubi is a Korean American needle switch and sharps enthusiast. As an artist, Rubi loves using needles and the human flesh as a unique medium. While she focuses mainly on decorative needles, she also enjoys blood cupping and other forms of sharps. Bio-Leo Gauge found his path in life learning to live radically and authentically in 1988. He is returning from a sabbatical and is eager to get back to serving others in the leather and kink community.
Leo Gauge’s passion for piercing, body modification, and other manipulations of the flesh knows no bounds. He is always eager to share his knowledge with others, from basics to intensives to one-on-one mentoring and sacred rituals. He is especially passionate about topics such as service, protocol, blood play, energy, recovering from addiction, and emphasizing practical applications. Leo is an educator at heart and has been educating since 1997, and is also the founder and owner of Beyond Piercing.
Many would tell you that Leo Gauge is approachable, straightforward, kind, innovative, and able to teach folx from wherever they may be in their journey. huge thanks and appreciation to this guest he is the Brad Pitt of sharps for me I fell in love with strings through his work and his education was the only resource I had in the beginning tucked away in my dark corner of Africa. Bio: (Fetlife: @HaroldKOV11), is a lifestyle Dominant, Sadist and a nerdy Rigger. BDSM is an integral part of his life. He has been practicing it in some way, since he was 17. His go-to and specialty is weaving, multiple insertions on the same needle. He learned intuitively to do the technique and hasn't stopped weaving since. In his words: “One insertion is always manageable; however, getting through three or more, with a needle blunting more and more with every insertion, without the break afforded by reaching for and opening another needle, is something that connects two people like few other practices”. Harold also has a good knack for creating stencils with technical drawing (compass, protractor, straight edge, and ruler), which started with his utter lack of ability to draw a straight line by hand and an engineering background. He finds this to be a creative outlet and has ended up with more drawings and stencils than time to do them.
Apart from the beauty of his needlework, his other passions include impact play, ropework (Partnered and autosuspensions), knitting and cooking. The last one comes in very handy and appreciated in the aftercare of any session. Moris and Cosmo, his two beautiful Siberian cats, are always part of a complete aftercare.
